Inspiration for this piece came from walks around Ottawa. Like many in recent times, staying home inspired me to try many different approaches to my sketching of local sights. Here we are looking south on Metcalfe near the World Exchange Plaza. I loved the architecture of the Nav building and wanted to paint it. Nav Canada Headquarters are located in the Commonwealth Building at 77 Metcalfe Street Ottawa.
