This painting was inspired by the unique landscape in the area, combined with parks, cliffs, and tall buildings. This location, across from the garden of the provinces, is also the location of a Cathedral, a heritage building dating back to the late 1800's. This is downtown Ottawa, but its location above the cliff gives it a cozy quiet feeling.
