As I continue to capture those gems within our city, I've painted "Green Island (Ottawa)". I was inspired by the wonderful reflections and the architecture of the "Old City Hall" along Sussex Drive at Rideau Falls. Old City Hall is located on Green Island and close to the Rideau. At this particular time, the water was almost still. The reflections were crisp and presented as a double image which captured my attention.
