Original watercolour painting.
This piece was created with inspiration from the Tulip Festival occurring in the spring. This artwork also incorporates digital art with my watercolours. I've created a digital backdrop for my painting digitally using the map of Ottawa. This background was printed onto 100% cotton cold pressed watercolour paper using archival inks. I then proceeded to paint the Peace Tower with foreground of tulips with watercolour. It presents a unique interpretation of "Springtime in Ottawa" .....Maurice Dionne
